Japanese Sales, 8th-14th February, 2010

The latest Media Create software and hardware data from Japan has now been released. This week sees Bandai Namco's God Eater retain the No.1 spot, with Dragon Quest VI close behind, remaining at No.2. The big new releases of the week include Konami's latest Prince of Tennis title for DS, in at No.4, and the same company's second Quiz Academy game at No.6, whilst Nintendo and Sandlot's MotionPlus-enabled action adventure Zangeki no Reginleiv out-performs other new Wii releases such as Sin & Punishment 2 and Endless Ocean 2, entering at No.9 with sales of nearly 22,000 units. Bandai Namco's second Dragon Ball Origins adventure disappoints, only entering at No.11, selling less than 30% of its initial stock, whilst Spike helps the game SEGA published elsewhere around the world, Platinum Games' MadWorld for Wii, to enter at No.33 with nearly 5,000 units sold.
