I seriously cannot wait for this game to come out! Like I've said many, MANY times before, Gold and Silver were the best in the series - a sequel with improvements over the original, yet not too many Pokemon/annoyances to make it not fun or simple.

The former top user was Keven! You'd probably give birth to yourself 1000 times over until you sprout wings to fly away into the fading sun, that or you'd just turn into a lesbian. Who knows @_@ - L, 12/06/09

Actually you can catch nearly every Pokémon in these versions, there are only about 15 or so missing altogether. Smilie

Right, right, but I'm talking about the original Gold/Silver. Even if it's not exactly like it, just by checking out the site and seeing some screenshots, this is going to have graphics and visuals better than that of Pearl and Diamond.

Having played it that's definitely the case. Everything about the overall experience has been 1up'd from D/P/Pt, visuals, sound effects, music quality, etc.

Wait, where/when did you play it?

I can't wait to get this as well. For some reason I'm just in the mood for Pokemon.

I can't wait to get Soulsilver, the site doesn't have the UK/IRE option up yet...

Still, My Silver version's broken, so I can't play it right now...

:O I'm ashamed of you.

I'm somewhat excited, but my favorite was always Red/Blue and the FRLG versions weren't that good, personally. However, they look like they are adding a lot to this game, so I am still definitely going to buy it.

I am amused they put a pedometer in a Pokemon game. If they ever release a Pokemon MMORPG, then they definitely have to include some sort of pedometer to protect all the children.

HA! I'd never use so-and-so method to play games I don't own! Especially ones that I previously thought would be unplayable due to their incredible rarity until I found out about the Virtual Console! HA!.......

I've already pre-ordered my copy of HG, and I've got a buddy planning on getting SS, so I'm set. Smilie

It requires great courage to look at oneself honestly, and forge one's own path.

FR/LG weren't very good remakes. The feel of Kanto was gone completely, and the music was annoying.

HG/SS are actually better than the originals, take it from me. Smilie

Nintendo should jump on the CO2 bandwagon with this release. Promoting a fun way to reduce Co2 by encouraging people to walk more often, can you imagine mothers trying to do the school run only to have little Billy (or whatever his/her name wants to be) saying he would prefer to walk so he can train up his pikachu.

Flapper!

I am so excited! The original Gold/Silver was my childhood game. I can't wait to relive the golden years of Pokemon!
