Sports Island/Deca Sports Dated for Nintendo DS in Europe

Konami has confirmed a release for Hudson's increasingly popular sports franchise, Deca Sports for DS.

The portable edition, Sports Island DS, is due for a release in May this year and aims to offer a slew of different sports that take advantage of the DS's touch screen. From Rugby to Sepak Takraw (volleyball with feet instead of hands). Cheerleading to clavy pidgeon shooting, there will be 10 events to sink your teeth into on the move.

There's also support for up to 6 players, with customisable avatars/characters to add a little competition between wireless buddies.
