Following on from the news that Square Enix was bringing LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias to the WiiWare service in Japan on behalf of Frontier UK, the company normally associated with grand-scale role-playing games has now teamed up with WayForward Technologies to publish its highly-rated dark and disturbing puzzle title 'LIT' over in Japan. Going under a new moniker now, 'School of Darkness' launched alongside the LostWinds sequel on 22nd December, 2009 and is another example of Square Enix attempting to branch out further and work closely with Western developers.
The official Japanese website can be found here and Cubed3's review of the game can be read here.
Whilst all of Square Enix's WiiWare content has been released worldwide, so far only one of its five DSiWare titles have arrived, in the form of the Intelligent Systems-developed Dragon Quest Wars.
