Last week Ubisoft released a new tutorial trailer for Red Steel 2, embracing the power of the improved sword mechanics.

Learn to wield your Wii remote like a pro in two minutes of slashing and poking action. Tired? Quickly draw your pistol to pick at those slightly trickier foes.

Ubisoft's asking "Wanna Play?" - Do you?

I still think it looks terribly boring.

@ Canyarion

I don\'t think so at all. I have the feeling that Red Steel 2 will improve upon everything the first did right, and remedy all the things the first did wrong. I think it\'s good that the first Red Steel didn\'t do so well so they could refine their sequel. This looks like a lot of fun, a lot more than the first.

Liking the look of this, definitely sounds better than RS1. Hopefully it's not so repetitive

Wanna play? I maybe want to, maybe not. I love the graphics, and the sword looks smooth and nice to use but I hope it's not all the same enemy like Red Steel 1 or The Conduit Smilie
