Brownie Brown Working on Professor Layton RPG on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The fourth Professor Layton DS game will receive its own RPG mode as a bonus from Brownie Brown.

The Mother 3/Magical Vacation developer has been working on a bonyus RPG mode once players complete the regular Level-5 puzzle antics. Dubbed London Life, the RPG is said to be at least 100 hours long, where fans can wander through the streets of beautiful London Town.

Professor Layton and the Flute of Malevolent Destiny will be hitting stores on November 26th in Japan for ¥5,040.

This sounds incredible, an 100 hour RPG unlocked AFTER the main game? Too good to be true...

I can't wait!! Smilie Layton is quickly becoming a gaming legend.

Its likely to be very repedative.

"Professor Layton and the Flute of Malevolent Destiny"

Is that an utterly fantastic game name or what?

I hate the fact were going to miss most of level 5 DS efforts, we get the layton games but doesnt look promising for the other titles theyve made

I disagree.
I think Europe, at least, will get most of them.
Layton has sold utterly fantastically, and publishers will be looking to get more of that action.

Plus, Ghibli films have done pretty good on dvd (probably the most successfull porting of Anime to the the west from what I can see), so I think the co-production game will also get support.

Whats more questionable is if we get the book with it too.
