Hudson is set to bring Tower of Shadow, an intriguing new platform title, to the Wii console. In Kage no Tou (or Tower of Shadow as it roughly translates into in English) players take the role of a young, invisible boy's shadow who must explore some ruins. Some screenshots have been released on the game's official website, as well as from Famitsu, and can be seen in the media folder below.
As for other details, so far all that is known (thanks to NeoGAF) is Tower of Shadow is a pseudo-platformer reminiscent of Ico in style, taking place in a giant tower that sits in an abandoned land, with players controlling the shadow of a boy as he tries to climb the tower. Gamers can walk on the shadows that platforms cast and avoid the shadows of traps, whilst interacting with shadows to move things in the real world (such as pulling the shadow of a lever to move the real lever). As seen in one of the pieces of art in the media folder below, the young lad has a black butterfly that aids him on his quest, which can move the light source to make jumping / solving puzzles easier.

Presently there is no firm release date, but this will indeed be a retail title and is supposedly around the 30% so far.
