First 4 Figures have revealed a Mario-themed chess set featuring famous Nintendo faces and Luigi as the queen...

The set includes 32 hand painted Mushroom Kingdom residents, including Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Daisy, Toad, Bowser, Goombas and Birdos.

The Super Mario Chess Set is being produced by USAopoly for release this fall. RRP $44.99.

Goombas should be pawns, Koopa Troopas should be rooks and Magikoopas should be bishops. This set makes no fucking sense!

And Peach should be queen, but that would mean there there would have to be two Luigis.
