E309 Media | Need For Speed: Nitro Wii Trailer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

EA have released a new clip of their Wii title Need for Speed: Nitro.

Taking more than just a cue from the Burnout Series, Nitro, of which is exclusive to the Wii & DS formats, features Blistering Speeds and Aggressive Enemies.

The only racers I like are F-Zero and Mario Kart. Oh and Trackmania.

I like the look of it because it's constantly running at 60Fps and I like the way the painting/graffiti follow you as you progress through the race.

I'm sure they could've done more graphical effects and it looks a bit on the easy side. But then it looks a bit like burnout on speed, and burnout sometimes wasn't exactly easy.

Still I guess they could always make improvements over the coming months.

Looks better than I thought, especially from how it's been described. Nice in motion, though we know the Wii can do better than that in both environment/vehicle detail. GC had it just as good, if not a little better.

Liked the overall look of it, but I sure as fudge hope you can set the camera a bit higher than that.. :-P
