Inazuma Eleven 2 Receives Japanese Date on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The sequel to Level-5's unique footy RPG Inazuma Eleven has received a release date in Japan.

The popular RPG has been granted a sequel, also for Nintendo's DS, due for release on October 1st, 2009. The original's still doing incredibly well, holding strong in the Media Create Top 30 and having over 300,000 copies sold since release.

The first game is fantastic fun and totally deserves to have accrued such strong sales over time after its pretty slow start. Most thought it would struggle to hit 100,000 at the time of release, but it's still hanging around the Top 30! Smilie

Now, you just have to wonder if it's not been released in Europe yet because Nintendo has first call on it, just like with Prof. Layton.
