Crystal Defenders, parts 1 and 2, have received an ESRB rating for a WiiWare release in North Aemrica.
Crystal Defenders was originally a tower defense title for mobiles from Square Enix, and now it's seeing a download release broken up into different episodes. The rating describes the title as suitable for all, containing mild fantasy violence.
This is a strategy game in which players arrange small soldiers around a winding path to defend against waves of enemies. As the small enemy sprites (various creatures that look like orcs, pixies, dragons and ghouls.) pass by the stationed soldiers, they are attacked with arrows and swords. Characters disappear in flashes of light when defeated, while "zapping" sounds and occasional "yelps" accompany each hit.
