Valkyrie Profile Set for Europe on DS

The DS entry into the Valkyrie Profile series has been given the go-ahead for PAL countries in Spring 2009.

Developed by the highly regarded RPG studio tri-Ace and published by Square-Enix, the series makes its debut on Nintendo's portable following the story of a soldier called Wylfred. The lad seeks retaliation against the valkyries as his father's life was taken by valkyries. He looks for an opportunity to fight back at the brink of battle in Midgard. Covenant of the Plume has a revamped battle system and multi-branching story.
