Mushroom Men Takeover Wii on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Red Fly Studio have grown a launch trailer for the forthcoming exclusive Wii platformer, Mushroom Men.

Alien fungi creatures your cuppa tea? If so, Mushroom Men is the action game for you. The Nintendo-exclusive game tells the tale of space chaps landing on our planet who run about looking for answers into their strange existence.

The DS version, entitled Rise of the Fungi will also sprout up in stores this fall.

i heard about this game about two years ago. i actually thought that they dropped the idea.

This is certainly a game that i'll buy for my Wii. The DS version doesn't look too bad either.

Doesn't look too bad actually - neat visuals and some interesting gameplay. Hopefully they'll really promote this heavily, as it could easily be lost in the shovelware.

I've been really looking forward to this one. Finally a game where I don't play a grizzled soldier.

I was following IGN's coverage on this untill IGN stopped working on my computer (something to do with internet explorer) the game looks good, I think it'll get a 7/10 to 8/10 as an average in reviews and graphically it's not bad either.

I hope it does well.
