Second Strong Bad Episode Due for Release

By Jorge Ba-oh 13.09.2008 4

Telltale Games have announced second chapter in the Strong Bad WiiWare and PC adventure is ready for release in the US.

The first episode scored well in our recent review, and by the looks of things the second installment isn't one to miss! Entitled Episode 2: Strong Badia the Free, we see the poor chap being put under house arrest due to the King of Town instituting an e-mail tax. Strong Bad decides to rise up against the authorities and try to remove an explosive collar they've strapped around his neck.

The company have kept their promise of a monthly release with Strong Badia the Free zipping its way onto the WiiWare service in North America and a worldwide PC release from Monday September 15th. PAL regions can do battle with the King of Town in the coming weeks.

Soooo, when will they fix the Widescreen bug?

I dunno if they'll fix it in the first one, but it wasn't a big deal. For the most part it ran fine.

I assume the next one will work better especially if Telltale were made aware of the glitches.

Love episodic content! I think games should really consider this as a route to keep gamers following a series, and keeping the action fresh.

Hopefully the quality will continue - do the series justice - the first episode seems pretty awesome!
