James Bond Ventures Online with Wii

By Jorge Ba-oh 23.08.2008 7

Activision have detailed specific features in the two Nintendo versions on offer.

Wii owners will be able to use the remote and nunchuck to take down their foes, or the Zapper if they please. More interestingly, the Wii version promises to follow the bigger brothers and go online and even contain an exclusive local-multiplayer feature not found in other home versions.

For the DS outing, players use the stylus to navigate the Bond world, using special cards to enhance the British agent's key abilities and arsenal. The DS version focuses on bringing key movie events that, through multiple narrative options, lead players through totally different paths for that extra bonus.

007: Quantum of Solace is due to release alongside the film later this year.

Yeeeah... I'm still not getting excited about the Wii version until we've actually... you know... seen it.

A wii shooter? ONLINE?! I'M THERE! Smilie

If it's anything at all like goldeneye (N64), i'll be first in line at EB.

Can brawl anytime now.....if you want an easy win
BOMBERMAN code: 2879 2176 8600, or just find me in a random match I think it might be time for Newspapers to look over their sponsorship contracts...

well... It shouldn't be too hard to beat MoH:H2. As long as they give a decent Campaign better controls and push online farther than EA nations. I will see it as a replacement FPS until The Conduit comesSmilie

hmmmm... exclusive LAN gamplay for WiiSmilie

I've seen the trailer and I like it. I'm good at shooting games, not to mention spy ones...so I'll get it [maybe].

I think there's a huge gap between the graphics on the Wii and the ones in the PS3/360, but this time it doesn't look shitty on the Wii either.

Pretty sure it's just 4 player split screen.

So you think the PS3 and 360 wont have split screenSmilie That sounds like a step backwards to meSmilie

I'm not sure about the LAN play, but it would be a 1st on Wii. It's something to think about at least.
