NFS:U2 DS Mini-review

Okay, I'll put up this short review of my NFS experience.

Firstly there have been some graphics complaints and all I can say is it isn' noticable during gameplay since you're concentrating on not crashing.

Drift mode was replaced by Own the Zone and it turned out to be very disappointing. While it may seem like it allows for a fairer race it is actually just an annoyance . You don't race any differently except you can see that you still lose even if you come first. I think drift would have been more fun and if they put it in the GBA version I see no reason why it shouldn't be in the DS version.

The controls themselves are fairly typical for a racer and there's nothing overly special.

The mini-games seem to have been put in there to use the touch screen and piss you off because they are either too difficult making them annoying or too easy making them annoying.

The multiplayer is also fairly standard.

All in all of the three racers on DS this one is actually decent, but it still leaves me desparate for Mario Kart.

Now Playing: Metroid Prime

Dammit, I've had it with this industry. It seems we Nintendo fans are doomed to become the Opera lovers and arthouse people fo gaming. Although arthouse moviegoers can still see good hollywood blockbusters. But we need to buy others consoles and damn they're expensive. Ok that's my rant for today.
