Mario party 4 vs mario party 5

I didn't include mario party 6 because it hasn't been released yet. Anyway what is your favourite? I know it's hard because both are as similar as each other but I think mario party 5 is better because of the new mini games (well duh) but also the characters as well. I think they should make a nintendo party all star game - like mario party but includes characters from across the nintendo GC board. e.g. link, sonic, etc.

Super Monkey Ball owns Mario Party. Mario Party 5 sucks, and the menu system, if you can even call it that, is terrible:

I think the original was the best, just felt so new, haven't even gone and touched 4 and 5. If the mic in 6 does anything new I may give it a look in. But Monkey Ball is better for fast paced mini-games, but they are sort of different.

The mic doesn't really do anything special in Mario Party 6. Just a gimmick in my opinion. But I do like 6 better than 4 or 5 though. The night and day concept is what I really like about 6.

Mario Party one rocks, it was the best! they should remake it for GC with more mini games. Not crap ones mind you. Good ones, & they won't change anything. Just add stuff. Mario Party 4 is better than no. 5 though. No. 5 got TERRIBLE reviews.

yeh, basically just like to play it.

I love them both - I'm a big fan of Mario Party games and I don't see what people complain about - I think they're excelent.

I loOOOOOOOOOOOOOve mario party. Just the fact that even you're non gameing friends can pick up and play is enough for me. On a not too dissimilar subject 4 OWNZ 5!

The first was great, the second one was still fresh, and the third one was pretty good... I returned Mario Party 4.

The second was probably the best in the series

Well, to be honest, I might not actually remember the third, but number two was definately great (it had the costumes, right?)

The dueling glove? Now that was an item! I think it led to some great one on one mini-games as well...
