Review: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

I'm absolutely loving this! I dropped out of BotW ages ago, long before finishing it and just never went back. Then I powered through the fun Link's Awakening remake, which got my Zelda buzz back... and now I'm loving this far more than I did on Wii. I think the Pro Controller works really well, even for sword movement. I've not been having problems, and even quite enjoyed using the motion sensor/gyro controls when trying out the Joy-Con.

I can definitely tell that SS has members of the old Flagship team in it. Capcom's Game Boy Zelda's are still so fantastic, and I'm really hoping old rumours of the Oracles coming back (maybe with the third game??) turn out to be true.

SS revisited really makes you wonder if Zelda lost a lot of what makes it great by going open world.

It's a shame you only highlight the res boost! The frame rate being boosted to 60 and the super responsive motion controls with the joycons are a total game changer! so much better than the original! That and the optional quests being represented by dialogue buibbles instead of being forcxed into your face with mandatory conversation as well as the removal of the constant reminders of what each item is when you boot up the game and collect them.

Might also need to get your joycon fixed if the analogue controls were giving you trouble, my old joycon are bad for it but the new ones are silky smooth.

Totally agree with the rest for the most part Nice to have considered dungeons after the fairly repetitive shrines in BotW
