I have to agree with the review of the gameplay mechanics, specifically with the way magic is drawn and junctioned.

I wish they would find a way to fix it without trivializing combat.

If you're going to have unlimited limit break, unlimited magic, and no random monster encounters, it just feels like cheating. And being able to toggle those things at any time, it feels like a pointless struggle to try to complete the game without them.

You may as well just go watch a let's play since there's hardly any challenge and almost no point to build the characters.

I love the characters though, and the environment and music are great. Lots of nostalgia with this game.
