Hayashida Wants Captain Toad in Mario Kart

They should add him as a joke character to Smash and give him no Jump ability and he can only attack by tossing items.

I'm not going to vote in that poll as I think he should appear in all of them. An amazing IP, he's building up the number of Toad characters although I think Toadsworth might have crocked it, I haven't seen him for a while.

If they put him in Smash Bros he could be a heavy character due to his backpack and literally fights using Mario styled items. He would have an even worse jump ability than Little Mac. He would attack Similar to how Shulk uses his B moves for the morado. He could have a Flower, Shell, Mushroom, Star and a Bob-omb. His Up B could be a tanooki tail but with very little sail. He could use Star-bits like Rosalina and Luma for his A attacks...I could see it happening right now!

At the very least he could be an assist trophy!

I thought captain toad was just regular toad with a hobby? So that would make him already present in Mario Kart. :-D

also, Toad from the Mario bros cartoons was always a but of a different character than what the cutesy Toads are today!

Paper Mario, obviously, as it has the largest scope for character development/humor.
The rest he would just be a mesh/skin really.
