Name That Tune Contest: Episode IX - The Legend of Zelda Edition #2

All rules are below, but a quick pointer on certain things for this one:

Some games have more than one track in there. I need the clear subtitle of the game you think each one is from. There'll be no half-points this time around; it's either right or wrong.

No extra points for telling me the name of the song or place it is played in.

I will not accept entries if you list two games in the same answer. e.g. putting "Oracle of Ages/Seasons" or "Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask" is going to be classed as wrong. Likewise, if you put something like "Oracle series," that's also going to be wrong. I need you to decide which game it is you are picking and tell me that. It will be classed as wrong unless you resubmit with a correction!

Remember: in tie situations, whoever PM'd me first is considered the winner, so while you do need to think carefully, try not to consider leaving it too late. As the rules say below, you can resubmit, but the time of your new entry will be taken instead of when you sent your first one.

Entered! Tough one this.

It is tbh. I would struggle with it as well, because I've only played through games like ST, PH, SS, FSA, ALBW etc. just the once.

It doesn't take me long to whip these up, so can make an easier one next time.

A tough one! Not played ALBW or FSA so have had to completely guess a few that I think are from them. I like these sort of quizzes!!

I'm same, I haven't played A Link Between Worlds and there are surely a lot out there I can't remember, but still managed to nail down a good few ones, so will be sending in my list. I am guessing we can send many times, just the last list will count right?

Whatever the case, I'm not sure about all of them, but I'll still send in my picks for now.

Yep, Rudy - can send as many entries as you like, but last list is the only one that counts, and will determine the order if there are ties (whoever sent first, wins).

Had to send in an updated list, finally nailed one that I was sure I had heard playing before but couldn't pinpoint. Had to shuffle around some wild guesses too, but there are still several which I can't even remember ever hearing before .

Hopefully some others enter too. Pretty much all 10 of the people who entered the last Zelda tune contest are still here.

There's some I've heard but just couldn't remember which games they were from. I know for sure I've got some wrong or mixed up with other Zelda games.

I had to make a few wild guesses, too, since there's a few Zelda games I've not played.

Lots of great music in this one.

If you think it'd be worth the time, I'd love to see you do one of these with Final Fantasy. I only listen to these quizzes once. If I don't know first time then I guess haha,

FF has been one I've always wanted to do, but I don't think we have ever really had enough people here that know the full series really well. Heck, only a handful have taken part in this Zelda one :/

I really would like to, though, so will see.

I think Marzy's gonna make a Rare one next, so I can take part for a change lol.

Haven't played much of the series beyond 7, 9, 10 and 12, the final fantasy series is so vast and spread across so many platforms that I could never keep up . But should make things all the more interesting .

I'll try to enter by the end of the week, hopefully. I'm sick again, so I haven't been in the mood to think about answers to this after I get home from work. Wouldn't want to send a half-assed entry when I've got my reputation as a Zelda fan on the line here.

I'll probs close it on Saturday or Sunday. Then Marzy can hopefully post his right after.

Just guess lol. You aren't the only one who found this tough.

It's the taking part that counts. And it won't make me think it was a complete waste of time lol.

André told me he'd enter but that might be tomorrow, so I'm holding on. Still time for people to enter.

I don't know how you counted my points Az, but I just checked, I only got 5 wrong. 25 minus 5... should be twenty shouldn't it ?

I got the following wrong to be exact :

I'm so sorry Rudy. This is why I don't dish them out straight away!

I write the results in blocks of fives in numerals style, like IIIII IIIII IIIII II - and then count them up. I saw the blocks and went "five, ten, fifteen..." and just completely overlooked the last block :/

Apologies, mate - I'm ammending now.

And fixed. Sorry about that. Need to take more care next time -_-

No worries mate, the result just felt odd compared to my own impression of my results, that's all, that's why I recounted, not out of mistrust . No biggie.
