Would love a sequel especially if they can tweak a few things. The atmosphere was nearly perfect it just felt empty at times.

The listing says that the game is from Namco Bandai Games though... mmmmmh... definitely seems like a troll . This goes against every signs Ubisoft has given us regarding their future Wii U developments. The first didn't sell well AND Ubi doesn't want to make any more gamer games for it. I don't believe this one bit XD.

Could go either way. Ubisoft has said they're done making all but party games on Wii U, but we know for a fact a sequel was already in development almost as soon as the first one was released. It's not too far-fetched that they would partner with another studio (like Namco Bandai) to finish what they started and get the game out there.
Also seems awful convenient that this happened the day Nintendo announced Super Smash sold half a million copies in three days in just one country. Maybe that boosted their faith in the console a little? Also interesting that Namco Bandai was involved in said super-selling game.
What's most telling to me, though, is that it actually had a product description detailing a setting. That doesn't normally happen with phantom listings; we get an Amazon page with no info at all on it other than the title. I can't think of any that actually had plot details on them. This could be legitimate, could be a misunderstanding, could be a lot of things.
I hope it's true, though. I loved the first game.
Would like to see them expand the series, multiplayer is amusing - especially for the non-GamePad player!
I'd love to see a zombie version of Bono...
Oh wait, not Zombie U2??

no... You can't do that...
If anything they should title it Zombi3, since ZombiU was technically a sequel to Zombi.
Sequel or remake?

I think it was named more in homage than having been designed as a sequel or remake.
Spiritual successor is probably the best term. Zombi was Ubisoft's first game, way back in the 80s. That said, both it and ZombiU share a few features; the name, the zombie theme, the first-person gameplay, and how when you die your character comes back as a zombie. Storywise they're unrelated, as far as I know.
WOuld love a sequel. Especially if Namco makes it. Namco is in my opinion one of the best big video game companies today.

I agree and they seem to know their way around the WiiU hardware pretty good.
namco would be the best if it wasnt for their absurd DLC practices.

something about the phrase "spiritual successor" just pisses me off so much...
Lol, I HAD to share this but didn't know where to post it.
Ubi really loves quick and dirty jobs XD. As I am replaying for what is maybe the 20th time through Zombi U, trying to finish the game in survival mode, and paying attention to the environments, I stumbled upon this :
It's in the supermarket area. That poster... I'll just quote myself from my Miiverse post (Miiverse post integration doesn't seem to work on Cubed3 btw)

Having seen this ad from afar I thought to myself that the arrangement of pictures, the font used and general colour scheme reminded me of Lidl folders you get in the mail, then I looked at the logo and understood right away . Ubi must have just scanned a Lidl folder and just changed the name of the shop .lol, Vitafit IS a brand of orange juice sold at Lidl too XD!! They didn't even care to change the brand!!
So everything pointed at them simply reusing, most likely without permission something they scanned off a folder or something. But not even! A quick google search and here's the source for the texture, they lifted it off the bloody internet! It's a folder distributed in the UK in September 2011 (so sometime during the development of the game)
Anyway, that cracked me up XD. Had to share it .
at least the had the decency to remove the company logo.
