Quite simply are these two guys right to lead Nintendo back to better days? I can't feel anything other than that they both need to be replaced. Reggie is all talk and no show, no fan service... and Iwata? I don't think he has a clue on what to do.

Where is the advertising? It sad that not many high street shops stock the Wii U - and Wii U sounds a daft name for a great console. If Nintendo just advertised that you dont need a TV/ no more fighting for the TV- alot of people would buy into that!!

I feel its time for fresh blood with real passion to lead Nintendo... enough of shovelware like Wii Music ... bring back what the fans want - proper Nintendo games!

What do you guys feel?

Wii Code: 6399-3866-6269-0745
PSN: SherWiinator Currently playing: LOZ: SS
Wishlist: Last Story, Pandora's tower, Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3

For me, it's primarily about the advertising - there is a distinct lack of advertising to the masses. Nintendo has good social branding, but most fans and followers already like Nintendo. It's like preaching to the converted.

The Wii and DS consoles were massive successes because of a broader strategy, something that Nintendo haven't quite captalised with the Wii U just yet.

The Wii U really should have supported Blu-Ray and DVD playback - the second screen would have totally been ideal for that.

I think they need to:

  • Continue to expand into second parties and release more key titles, quicker.
  • Establish new IPs and genres not normally tackled by Nintendo.
  • Try to secure more Japanese third party exclusives.
  • Improve mass advertising - there's bare minimal here in the UK, and a majority of it leans towards the 3DS.
