I'm kind of worried about being kept in the dark so long about Nintendo's other first party games in development. Although I'm still hyped for Mazza 64, I would like to get a rough estimate as to when the real proper DS stuff will come out.

Anyone heard anything as of late?

Same here, no DS games from First Party have actually caught my eye, bar Mario and Metroid...

nope havt hevaent heard anything in a long time since the first batch of DS launch titles. wasnt Warpipe ment to unveial somthin this month or was it just that weired video they made with the guy walking around..was that it.

I hope that this won't be like Nintendo's traditional console lineups, i.e. first party + 3rd party to begin with, then a slew of 3rd for a little while but slowly deteriating to a silent period before several 'big names' come out.

Whilst 3rd party support is good for now will it maintain? Nintendo seem to have a few new ideas out, which is all good but to me they seem a little gimmicky at the moment. 3rd Party games really seem strong at the moment, hope they continue - Square Enix, Namco, Konami, Sega Sammy etc have promised some excellent games in the upcoming months and 2005.

We'll see, as for the launch and early 2005 it seems pretty strong atm.

The DS come out in less than a month! Along with a built in Picto Chat and Metroid Prime: Hunters. There are probably other starting launch games, but I havn't payed much attention. As for later release dates for other games, I have not the slightest idea...

What about Wario Ware, the forthcoming Mario Kart, the side scrolling Mario game shown at E3?

PhazonBunny, you didn't pay much attention at all.

Metroid Prime Hunters is only a demo. Smilie

Thats true Smilie
It's called something like Metroid Prime: First Hunt

PSN: shiptoncraig
Steam: Guess what?

But First Hunt still has multiplayer capabilities, and I'm getting Mario 64 DS when it comes out!!! Smilie

I think everyone is getting 64 DS on launch.

Wario Ware is a Japan launch game, hitting the US in january time apparently. As for the rest I don't know, 4 swords is in the works, as is Advance Wars but they couldn't possibly come out before E3 2005 surely.

Remember these are shipping dates and not release dates, and they are just a general estimate. Either way we can expect alot of games heading our way through out 2005.

P.S I'm a new face around here, i've been browsing the topics for quite awhile, and I have a GC, GBA and N64. I've been a fan of nintendo stuff for 8 years, and now own about 30 Nintendo games.

FF3 and Sword of mana will be ones to watch out for Smilie

Welcome Mazza. But the question is; do you own Jet Force Gemini?? Smilie

Of that list the only game I'm REALLY interested in is Yoshi's touch and go!! Smilie

Probably end up getting bomber man aswel you always need at least one bomber man game

Unfortunately, I don't own anything older than an N64. I buy about 15 games a year currently; the most recent game I bought was Pokemon Fire Red (The show's rubbish but the games are fine) closely followed by Pikmin 2. (On Topic) I just looked at those *unofficial* release dates, and many first and second party games are slated in for the 10th of october. If it's true, then that's good for my importing duties (don't tell Nintendo Smilie )
