I still, still don't get it - at least it's called Mini, but it'll surely cause even more confusion at retail this holiday season: Wii, Wii Mini, Wii U, 3DS, 3DS XL, 2DS - at least the 3DS line can play the same games, the Wii and Wii U are two completely different specs though the Wii Mini could possibly cause a bigger dent in the potential Wii sales.

The games are here for Wii U now, but it's the marketing strategies that are really hurting Nintendo badly.

I have no idea what they are thinking. They are trying to boost sales of the U, so they launch an inferior version of a basically dead console to compete with it during the holiday season? Smilie

Working like a fiend isn't very fun... and surprisingly isn't very fiendish either.

I feel sorry for people working in the Nintendo Marketing team....they must have so many frustrated employees who are thinking their superiors are fools!

Wiis are a dime a dozen, and can be had for cheap. A stripped down version at $100 makes no sense whatsoever.
