Let's face it, saying that it is just the exact same thing when it isn't even out is like saying Bioshock Infinite is the same as Bioshock. Also, SEGA has little to no affiliation since Nintendo is funding and producing Bayonetta 2 alongside Platinum.

Does Sega own Bayonetta?  I was under the impression that Platinum owned Bayonetta's IP, Sega just published it.  And since they would make no money off of the second game, it'd make sense to push more sales of the first?

So much for a number in the title of the sequel making things clear for everyone...

Yep sega owns bayonetta, platinum games have said multiple times they're the developer not the publisher. They don't own anything

New low from SEGA. It's not even there game anymore so why would they claim something like this?

To the author of this stub, I would say it's good to keep in mind that re-posting things like this out of context often does cause low-level employees to lose their jobs over honest mistakes.

It's hard to find an Epic Fail of this caliber in the industry....this is an Epic Fail made of Win with the hilarity factor.
