My first upload. I bloody love this stage. The game looks great in general, we need a C3 meetup soon!

Gonna play it now after about 10 hours of shitty menus and updates.

We'll be playing Mario Kart 8 tonight (already are, actually), for anyone of the crew who already has the game and wants to join (Phoenom, etc.).

Gonna try get my mate who's also a massive MK fan round to mine next week. Be great if we can both be on skype during a C3 sesh somehow. Will have to think of a way for it to work lol.

Yeah, I'll try use the Pro where possible. A lot lighter and comfier.

If you didn't charge it before using, it's also likely that the charge it came with wasn't a lot. That was also the case with my PS Vita recently, took a few hours to charge fully before I turned it on for the first time.

Great to see that you got the game too now, Rudy. No idea where the hell jb is and he hasn't replied to my tweet, so you're our guy for recording as of right now.

Nah I charged it whilst I set it up. Took the cable out when it was fully charged a few hours ago and needs a recharge already. Oh well, will just have to get used to it.

If you collect coins even when you're at 10, do they count towards your combined total to unlocking parts? Or is it basically that you can only collect 10 per race?

I'm tempted to say they accumulate. Finished a cup where it said I had got 100 coins, then did one more cup and got up to 150 coins. I think it might total the ones that actually make your counter rise in the game. If you're on 10 coins in a race, added coins won't count, but if you get knocked back down to 7, then pick up 3 to get back to 10 in that race again, those 3 will count to your overall total.

That's what I think.

Got mine today and it's the same, the German age rating is so huge and hideous.

Gentlemen...

Made a discovery.

Whatever ranking you get in a higher cup, e.g. 3 stars on 150cc Shell Cup, it will automatically award you the same ranking for the lower cups, i.e. 3 stars on 50cc and 100cc Shell Cup.

I've done two cups now to test it.

Just did Mushroom Cup 150cc and got 3 stars, and it gave me the 3 star Mushroom Cup on 100cc, which I hadn't done.

So that's cool.

I think I heard about that a few days ago, just didn't really keep it in mind because I knew you had to win a cup with every character for a stamp, and that number matches up pretty nicely when you do all 32 cups (50/100/150/Mirror).

Yeah that's the only unfortunate thing about it really. Cool to know tho!
