The 3D effect had better be worth the wait. I want my Super Hang On and Space Harrier fix (don't care about sonic and altered beast though)

Its weird...I thought they were using bundled, altered, emulators at first. But a year to make a game despite already having all the assets, sound, maps etc implies they have to recreate the engine.

I think you made a typo/Freudian slip:

and 3D Super Hard-on took about a year.

Does this imply anything in British slang? It certainly makes me chuckle over here in America.

To say something on-topic:
I wonder what exactly it is that takes so long. Do you think they have to redraw a lot of the sprites? My thinking is that if your motorcyle guy in Super Hang-On is supposed to be 3D, each eye would need a slightly different image.

Whatever it is, a year seems like a ton of work just to port old Genesis/Megadrive games.

Do they have like 1 intern working on those titles or so??

I dought each sprite is 3d - probably just each layer is seperated.
