Golden Sun VS 2D FInal Fantasies

Would anyone like to debate this topic? I haven't played the 2D final fantasies so I can't participate. Really I just want to watch a debate.

i've never played any 2D final fantasies, so i'm gonna say golden sun. the first one is probably my favourite gba game.

Ah do you mean 2d fantasies as in Mystic quest on the gameboy and final fantasy II and III and secret of mana and shit?
Cos if yo udo i have mystic quiest in my gamboy right now and quiet simple golden sun wins hands down. No really hands down.
You cant really compare old old RPGS with new ones because the older ones were amazing for their day.

wot the hell a classic never loses its quality how can u compare games thru graphics alone, golden sun is no where near as good as final fantasy, golden sun doesnt improve, final fantasy raises the bar every time a new one comes out.

I bet most of you lot have never play ff6 the best ff game so ill say Final fantasy they will hope they make a new 2d ff game

Well comparing Fina Fantasy 9 and Golden Sun 1 (the two I have played most out of the two series') I would personally go for FF.

Mainly because of the sheer depth, beautifull cutscenes, intertiwning storlyines etc etc. To be honest though they are both great titles, and I am interested in looking into older and newer, FF's as well as Golden Sun 1+2 again.

I would be interested to here some other peoples opinions on this matter

I'vce never played any ff's. But Golden Sun/ Golden Sun: The Lost Age are my two favorite games ever!! So I'd probably say Golden Sun anyway (I have played FF: Chrystal Chronicles at a friend's house, the people were really weird and that kinda turned me off).

I prefer Golden Sun to the older FFs. FF1 to 6 feel very outdated but from FF7 onward id prefer them to Golden Sun
