Wait...is this allowed? I am guessing Nintendo aren't exactly distributing it, but for someone to do this i would think would enroach on Nintendo's rights? Right??

They're legal, otherwise they wouldn't be allowed to be made. They're consoles that play the original cartridges - not ROMs. The hardware patents for the original consoles would have expired, so there's no problems with them making such systems now.

Oh i didn't realise that the patents would expire so quickly, i would have thought that Nintendo/SEGA/Sony and Microsoft would have long standing patents to prevent this.

I guess it isnt really hurting anyone though!

All it really needs now is an N64 cart slot and you're sorted, really. Possible Master System support might be useful, though the majority of greats are on the MD/Genesis anyway imo.

I would consider it, possibly, though have stuck to the N64 (cart) and rest on VC.
