Dark Souls on Wii U

A similar petition resulted in the release of the PC edition of Dark Souls, so this is more likely to work than in most other cases. Signed because Dark Souls was one hell of a game and as many people as possible should be able to experience the sequel.

I'm actually surprised it's not already happening. Namco Bandai has always shown Nintendo some love. Not to mention they're co-developing the next Super Smash Bros, so they should be closer to Nintendo than ever (not to mention adding Dark Souls characters to SSB4).

Never played the first game, but my brother has it. Maybe I should give it a try. I'll sign the petition, in any case.

Yeah, I was hopeful we'd get it, given namcos support of the wiiU.

Edit: Definately grab that copy off your brother and get playing. Shouldn't take too long. Don't look at the wikis until you reach anor londo. Just bash through it. Make a mistake. Deal with it. That is life. Existential angst and bad choices. Oh, and play fast and loose with your humanity. Don't be precious. Use it and abuse it. You will need maturity, you will feel grief, you will mourn and before it's over you will have lost your humanity. Only the bloody stumps of your fingers will tell the story for you will have been rendered mute by the experience.

Also surprised it's not happening, I'd be even more surprised if they hadn't considered it at all - this kind of online focused game would work well with Miiverse. I really hope Nintendo approach From and get in on this.. but I signed the petition anyway.

It's more worrying than anything that big 3rd party releases are still missing Nintendo's platform, let's hope that changes somewhat.
