Really loved the demo. I'm not a fan of rhythm games in general though. If the price is right, I might get it at some point, but probably not a full price.

I wasn't expecting much from this, but I've heard that some of the team were also involved in Project Rub and Rub Rabbits...which actually makes sense given some of the quirky mini-games.
However, the thing that sold me on this was the great story, fantastic presentation, and cool music. I like this because it's much more than a typical rhythm title.
Comes out in the UK on Thursday US readers have to wait until July!
I haven't played the demo but I'm still very interested in this game. Looks like a great experience to me, though it'll probably have to wait until it gets cheaper as I'm not exactly rich right now. :/
I'm stunned by it - wasn't sure what to expect. Didn't have chance to try the demo, so thought it'd be a poor attempt at a normal rhythm game. Wow, was I wrong!
[by the way...weren't you doing some reviews for us a while back? ]
I'm definitely gonna get this today! Thanks for the review!
Has anyone bought this today, or planning on getting it soon?
Also, anyone that played Feel the Magic XX/XY (Project Rub) and/or The Rub Rabbits, do you reckon this might appeal?
Higher up my list than Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise!
I'm gutted - this didn't even make the 3DS Top 10 in the UK

That's absolutely terrible!
Got this a couple of days ago.. haven't had the chance to really play it all that much, but from what I have played.. it's bloody brilliant.
I had no idea the game had some form of "exploration"/point-and-click elements, I thought it was just all rhythm games! I love how the point-and-click stuff is pretty much just like Professor Layton, but instead of having Hint Coins lying around. You have Medals, Music Tracks and all sorts of things.
I'll definitely have to play some more of this when I have the time/when I'm in the mood.
In played the demo, and it is really addictive. I just love the music and the way you have to go about completing each stage. One of the best rhythm game out there. I don't usually judge a game just from a few levels on the demo, but this game is wow.
More people need to try this, definitely. It really isn't just a run-of-the-mill rhythm title...
Adam Riley said:I've been playing this for a while now, I think I'm almost done with Chapter 5. I absolutely love it so far. It feels like Professor Layton, Rhythm Paradise and Elite Beat Agents all had a baby and this is their lovechild. Brilliant game.

The animation is just beautiful and the 3D used in the cutscenes is actually pretty darn good. It just makes me want the first Layton for 3DS already.
I've played the demo loads of times and I really like it. I'm probably gonna get it sometime around my birthday. I really like puzzle and rhythm games and I can't wait to get it. ^_^
This looks very different. Puzzle games are one of my favorites to play so this will go right on my wishlist.
