Styles of play (and other recuring factors)

Ok this is a strange one But has any one noticed the types of play (no not genres) Or any other reccuring things For example

Bosses
Pattern bosses
these bosses follow a preset pattern learn this pattern and kick azz

Blasty Bosses
Usually found in shooters Thes bosses just go all out with set patterns Of attack Only way to kill them Is to fill them full of an unknown amount of iron or laser a lot of these times the boss sheds armour

The head
Ahhhh the head no game is without it A giant attacking head Sometimes with hands ALWAYS with laser eyes ALWAYS (thanks Ngc)

Bosses that take a set amount of hits But get consecutively faster and your character doesent Have a preset health one or two hits kill you You alwayts get to the last hit or two b4 You die miserably but always come back for more

Anyway Have any of you noticed a recycling of ideas (probably more than me im an idiot)
