MS cut their loses? hmm.

Considering that they're a new entrant to a closed market, have secured a small margin between themselves and Nintendo with no experience in the console market they've lost nothing but money and what's that to Bill.

I'd rather SEGA spend their money developing great games than developing great consoles doomed to fail.

Me too, I would love to see a new Sega console but they have not got the $ to back it up (which is one of the reason the Dreamcast Smilie ).

As for Sega becoming 2nd party, I would not like that, off course I want to see more Sega games on the Game Cube but I want it because they sell better on this console, not because of some deal & that coves Sony / Micro$oft as well.

I also got a lot of faith in Visual Concepts, they can make the sports game that can outsell EA Sports, it would be great to see they games back on the Game Cube as well.
As you can see, I am a bit of a Sega fan boy Smilie

Nintendo GAMECUBE sets new technical standards in a compact (6"x6"x4.3"), transportable housing. It features a highly customized, 405 Mhz, copper wire central processor from IBM; a revolutionary graphics co-processor from ATI with Mosys 1-T SRAM memory embedded directly onto the chip; and 40 MB of memory, including one of the largest implementations of static memory in consumer product history. This integrated design creates the fastest and most efficient video game system ever brought to market.[/size]
