I just played through it this weekend. I haven't played it since I got it for Christmas a few years ago. It's a perfect remake of the original game. Even though it's for the Gameboy Advance, it still had some very good graphics and sound.

Fantastic game - one of my Favourite Zelda titles ever; probably comes on par with OOT (or sometimes depending on the mood I'm in) even beyond.

It had something unique about it - not just the graphical and gameplay aspect, but the design of hyrule was so refined and packed full of action - I just loved the tight corners, wall to wall sections with enemies, buildings, caves and the usual array of dungeons - pure perfection!

Truly an amzing game. One of my faves for the Snes and indeed of all time. Havent played it on the Gba but I have completed it many a time on the Snes.

I was never able to find it for the SNES, but it's great on GBA!!!!!

All this talk is making me wanna play it again, infact I will Smilie

I'm still yet to get all the way through it, currently in Misery Mire. It's a good game - only thing I will say is that it's very difficult to get through first time. Especially in between dungeons, where it's often confusing as to where to go next. I really should get through it, might ned Gamefaqs to help though...

Some help? You'll need a lot! The game is tough as nails!

It is a great game. I'd definately recommend it, even though I haven't bought the GBA version yet. I remember completing the game years ago when I was about 10/11 (I think) and then playing through it again a couple of times more.

I went back to it about a year ago, got to the 6th dungeon in Dark World, and couldn't figure out what to do!

Excellent game which i have for SNES and GBA but dont you need link lead for 4 swords?

Can you use GBA leads (ffcc) n plug em in to gc n play four swords on the gc then?

I think so, I have to say I've wanted to get this game for ages, mainly as I never played a Link to the Past.

I'm sorry too go against the trend here, but I'm extremely disappointed by it all. I bought it a few months back and have just completed the first dungeon in the dark world. It all seems pedestrian to me, the dungeons are neither interesting nor clever, like say the Water Temple was in OoT. It can seem almost unharshly fair at times and the game world as a whole seems sparse and devoid of interest.

Now, you cannot put these criticisms down to me not liking Zelda games. Like most people on here OoT was arguably the best and most exquisite game I'd ever played and Majora's Mask and Wind Waker were highly enjoybale too. It's probably because I played a 3D Zelda before any of it's 2D incarnations. But, saying that, I quite enjoyed the Oracle series on the GBC. It's weird, I just don't think LTTP has hit the spot...

Seth- with that post count you should be aware that it's best to use the "edit" button when you want to add a sentence or two to your previous post. Just thought i'd tell you.

A Link to the Past is a fantastic Zelda title, I hadnt played it until i purchased my SP and I thought the game was good. I think Ocarina still beats it though Smilie
