Let's Get This Party Started!
Mario Party-e is the ultimate party starter! The series that inspired the party game genre is spinning off into an action-packed card game for two to four players. Mario Party-e draws from popular card games and the Mario Party video games to create a new kind of gaming experience. Participants play cards from a 64-card deck and compete to see who's the star of the party. Several cards feature scannable Dot Code for e-Reader Mini-Games that contribute to the chaos.
Minigame Madness!
Certain Mario Party-e cards contain Dot Code which can be scanned through an e-Reader to access Mario Party Mini-Games on your Game Boy Advance. Here are a few examples of the 11 Mini-Games available:
Mario's Mallet
Goombas pop out of a pipe and make a beeline for Princess Peach. It's up to you to swing a massive mallet and smash the enemies before they scramble. If you manage to flatten all of the foes and refrain from hitting Luigi when he pops up, you'll win the challenge.
Cast Away Mario!
This minigame challenges you to cast a Magic Hand from a fishing boat and collect the fish that Peach calls out. If you pull up the wrong fish, or if you come up empty-handed, you'll lose the chance to move ahead of your competition.
Wario's Bluff
When Wario gets behind the wheel, all bets are off. As the risky rider approaches the edge of a cliff, hit the brakes before he runs out of road. The player who stops closest to the edge of the bluff without going over wins an Item collection.
