What Are You Playing? 2012 Happy New Year Edition!

I tried the Japanese version once. I couldn't make any sense of most of the dialogs but found Alanhalem (or whatever is name is, that's the main Yuke character) ending all its phrases in "ARU" (pronounced "alu") to be super funny. I was actually surprised to see they managed to keep that in English, with him using words in that ends in "al" everywhere, but it didn't sound as funny then. The French localization dropped that, which removed some of the originality of the character, so I went for the English texts instead, because they seemed to be more true to the original.

No, it's just sounds bloody annoying XD Totally get that they try to give him a bit of personality though, but again, I think it's one of those where it suits a younger generation more.

For the last month or so due to my heavy workload I've been.. replaying Sonic games, that's really pretty much all I've been doing despite the huge pile of untouched games growing before me.

I played the hell out of Sonic CD when it was finally re-released. Aand I've been replaying Sonic Generations on an almost weekly basis (I love it so much omfg I haven't replayed a game this incessantly in... years. Just not Planet Wisp why was that stage so disappointing.)

And in the last week I've replayed Colours, Sonic 4 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles (again).

I'm really excited for Sonic 4 Episode 2!??! God.

Oh yeah and I've been playing Tales of the Abyss when I actually have good chunks of free time. RPGs are hard for me to get stuck into nowadays ; -;

Sonic Generations came today ;D Done the first 3 stages as both Sonics. Love it! Such a great feeling playing as both.

as well as trying to write my dissertation!
