What are you playing? -Christmas Edition- December 2011

I can't believe nobody made this yet, forcing me to step in for the first time and save the day.

Anyway, November and the myriad of new, great games coming out (finally) slowly stopped. Are you still busy playing some of those games or are you already anxiously waiting for any you might have saved for Christmas?

Personally, I recently finished Super Mario 3D Land with 100% and it was a lot of fun. Once you get to the hard special levels, Nintendo's usual brilliance in level design shines through again and makes a normally short and easy game just so much better.

Of course, I'm also playing Mario Kart 7 like many others right now but I'm slowly getting really frustrated by the constant issues that arise in the online mode. I can somehow deal with BS like no more name tags during online races but what's the most important thing about online play? Being able to freaking play at all and I can't manage to play most of the time because I keep getting errors.

I'll be starting Tales of the Abyss today and I'm already looking forward to it. Haven't played a JRPG since Xenoblade, so I definitely need my regular JRPG fix.

For Christmas, I'll be getting Rayman Origins and maybe two other games but I haven't decided which just yet. One of them will likely end up being Kirby Adventure Wii, though.

To be honest I was going to start this thread up this morning but you beat me to it.

My gameses;

Tales of the Abyss - Am quite enjoying this so far. Symphonia will most likely always be my personal favourite, but I can see why many regard this as the best Tales game. I'm not too keen on the 3DS conversion as the text is hard to read and the second screen barely gets proper usage at times.

Mario Kart 7 - Equally great fun and have enjoyed the online matches we have played so far. New stages are brill and I'm glad to see Nintendo included a number of my favourites from previous games too. ^^

Chrono Trigger -Came out on iOS yesterday and I've just purchased it, looking forward to going through it properly this time.

Sonic Generations PS3 -Just completed the story mode but will be going back for the missions every now and then. Vastly preferred Modern levels to Classic stages overall,

Minecraft

The World Ends With You - Joshua chapter. Don't quite have the time to explore the game to its depths (like many games atm), but enjoying the story and always eager to find out what happens next. Enjoying the touch controls for battle.

Mario Kart 7 - Haven't played for a couple of days. Bit of a disappointment for me, but hopefully online picks up at some point. Will see about making a tournament of sorts soon.

Should hopefully play more over the month.

Playing through Halo Anniversary legendary on co-op, along with skulls etc.

I've put in nearly 40 hours of gameplay in a week. The online might not be perfect, but I'm still having a lot of fun with it (when I can get connected). I've also fully completed the game, in terms of cups and got at least one star or more for all of them on my first go. I still need to collect all the vehicle parts though.

I'll be getting some great games for Christmas.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 - (iOS)

I just completed Sonic the Hedgehog 1 not so long ago with all the emeralds for the first time in a long time, i am now going through Sonic 2! I'm struggling to get that god damn 7th emerald! I've done it before though!

Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks - (DS)

I've completed the third temple, although i am not really bothering with many of the side quests.

I have a huge haulage of games to be played. Just trying to tackle them one by one!

3D Dot Game Heroes - Haven't had this much fun in quite a while. Just, absolutely brilliant.

With...myself? I'm actually currently gorging on Snake for my 3210. Classic.

A mix of Resident Evil 4 HD, Resident Evil 5: Gold, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Fight Night Champion, and Skyrim.
