What upcoming games are you looking forward to purchasing in 2011 and early 2012?

To compliment Azuardo's post, I wondered what everyone had on their list of upcoming games to buy/wish for?

Here's my list to get things kicked off (in no particular order):

1)Battlefield 3
2)Modern Warfare 3
3)Xendoblade Chronicles
4)Legend of Zelda : Skyward Sword
5)Last Story (2012)
6)Pandora's tower (2012)
7)Earth Seeker(TBC)

On a side note - I'm intrigued by Little Kings Story - I know some of you have rated it highly. So i'll have to save up to get that one

There's three main big hitters for me this year and next.

1. Zelda: Skyward Sword (Nov?)
2. Uncharted 3 (Nov 4th)
3. Final Fantasy XIII-2 (2012)

Main FF and Zelda games get bought day one for the most part, for me. And Uncharted is a series I am so thankful for trying out. I'm now hooked on it. So those are all definitely day one purchases. Worst case scenario would be Zelda coming out the same time as Uncharted... Don't wanna think about it. I would add Tomb Raider into the list, but it's penned in for Autumn 2012, so still a while to go yet.

Xenoblade looks good, but I'm not sure I'll have the time to put in all the hours required for it so I don't know about that just yet. Last Story could well clash with XIII-2, and FF will always get priority there.

Oh, and I did notice you posted this in the Wii forum, bud. Mods might wanna just move it to General Gaming, seeing as we're talking about multiplat games.

Not too clued up on imminent releases, but Gears 3 and Skyward Sword are definitely up for consideration.

Daaaamn, 16 games? I might need to get some plan how I plan on paying for all of those. Well to be fair, I included some 3DS games of which we don't know when they are going to release but some have been rumoured to be early 2012 titles so who knows. I'm going to buy those anyway.

Even though we don't know anything about it, I included Dragon Quest X because I played Dragon Quest IX and liked the DQ universe so if DQ X does some things I didn't like differently (no more faceless characters and no job system where you have to grind forever) then I'm definitely buying it.

The game that I'm most looking forward to is Tales of the Abyss 3DS, I'm also looking forward to Star Fox 3DS but not as much.

- Minecraft (When it finally comes out of beta).
- Skyward Sword (My Wii is dying for some attention right now).
- COD MW 2.
- Mass Effect 3.

Birdo - I'd recommend you wait and get MW3?
unless you plan on getting both games? I play MW2 alot online - but I've noticed that it takes alot longer now to find online games. I imagine its because either people are playng Black ops or they are waiting for MW3.

As far as RPGs on the Wii go, IGN did a good article about Wii's lost RPGS (It includes GC games too).

I'd highly recommend Skies of Arcadia. IMO its one of the best RPGs ever made (hunting down a GC copy might be a little difficult. If you have a Dreamcast - you could prob find one for cheaper).

I'd also suggest you get ALL of the BIG 3 RPGs coming out - XENOBLADE, LAST STORY and PANDORA's TOWER
