All I'd say to that, Canyarion, is that Nintendo isn't so aloof that it doesn't take ideas on-board. Just look back to the Wii Remote - the only reason a speaker was included was because Yoot Saito of Vivarium suggested it would be a good additional feature.
There was also talk last year that Nintendo was so impressed with uDraw that it was working on something for the peripheral...
wasn't art academy out before u draw? maybe with the wiiu in the pipeline nintendo were watching the u draw tablet to see how people take to a larger input device as a controller
