I've also heard that the developers of Batman Arkham City want to make the Wii U version the "definitive version" of their game.

So the hardware is more powerful then?

Going by what we know of the CPU and GPU so far - a confirmed Power7 and most likely a Radeon HD 4870 - it's going to be 4 or 5 times more powerful than a PS3, and that's before we even start thinking about system RAM.

The Power7 has also been confirmed by IBM to have 'a lot' of memory, so we can expect it to have at least 32Mb eDRAM. It's going to be a beast.

It's really surprised me tbh, I was personally expecting a Power6 at best. I can't see it retailing for less than £300, which is a bit of a gamble tbh.
