No COD, no SF.... no MGS? While it looked sweet - I wanted to see some Massive games to make me drool. I dont have a reason to upgrade... yet.

Wii Code: 6399-3866-6269-0745
PSN: SherWiinator Currently playing: LOZ: SS
Wishlist: Last Story, Pandora's tower, Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3

Third parties? On a Nintendo console?! Crazy!

This is one of the more exciting bits of info, in my opinion. If third parties get behind new tech from Nintendo, really get behind it, some great may come out of this console.

Yeah while it's good to see them getting the multiplatform games which would never have been possible on Wii, just Lego City thingie for an exclusive title is a bit slim...

I expected at least a timed exclusive of an upcoming multi platform title. Why not MGS Rising for example...

Anyway... I'll still be getting it when it eventually gets one or several games that I want, which I'm sure it will..; eventually; But just now, we haven't seen a lot yet. More the reason for me to go to Gamescom in August, in hope that it'll be there, in a playable form Smilie and with new announcements.

Well there's no way it'd get Rising - that thing's been advertised more on the 360 than anything else. But yes, I agree, it would have been better to have a bigger name as an exclusive, rather than bloody Lego City Stories.

There were many developers not really mentioned. Square, Sega, Capcom, where were you? I'm sure they'll be on board, but it would have been nice to hear from them or just to say "yes, you can look forward to Final Fantasy, Sonic and Street Fighter".

Hopefully we will hear more new games soon.

I saw people in various places screaming that this is all PS3/Xbox360 footage and not from the Wii U. They might be trolling and it sure works well on me right now because I'm still really confused about all of this.

I would take it that this is Wii U footage for now.

"it does everything you could want"

1:1 sword fighting?
Accurate IR senseing?
hell, even realisticly controled Tennis?

Wii can already do those so obviously WiiU will be able to too.

Unfortunately its true. Reggie himself has stated that no footage shown was from wiiu games but from the games running on different hardware

I agree that even one major exclusive for the WiiU would have stolen the show. Something like a Final Fantasy VII remake, Grand Theft Auto, or Monster Hunter would have made a ton of hard core gamers want a WiiU.

However, it seemed that the console is still very unfinished and developers haven't even started working with the console so announcing exclusives is a little preemptive.

I'm sure that whole trailer reel was full of games that developers said they would like to make for the system, not games they were already making.
