No, you've read that incorrectly.
And more cosy? This has been the cosiest season since the 9th Doctor re-boot. Apart from the endings, you hardly ever leave Earth and when you do it's a hotel and a spa.
Doctor Who had a terrible budget for Season 5 and 6, they've blown it all on the season finales (end of 1, end of 2 part 1 and part 2) and this has meant that we had a lot of "low budget" and cosy episodes.
The ending was very predictable, they gave it away in the intro trailer completely. They have a habit of doing that recently.

That's why I don't watch them. Ever.
And Ulti-mate, it's what it felt like to me. There's no right or wrong in that. Lots of people admit to that kind of stuff by having one of the characters voice it, so it's always an option.
And even though it hardly left Earth, I still wouldn't say it was cosy. More to do with the vibe of it, tbh.

The Christmas special has a Narnian vibe this year
Awesome, Series six felt a little short lived with it split up into two parts. Still it was a good one and I've gotten used to Smith very quickly. Looking forward to christmas now!
A PS3/Vita game of Doctor Who.
Being made by a company who's previous titles have been Move based

The Doctor's new companion is confirmed. I'm really excited to see how they get rid of Amy and Rory, as much as I like their characters. Now we just have to play the waiting game. Series 7 is said to be split across two years... ouch.
Was the best reason to watch Emmerdale.
It's back!

Overall great episode and an awesome way to start the new series. Am wondering if some time travel will play a part of getting the new companion on board, seems a bit impossible otherwise at the moment.

Karen Gillan and Freema Agyeman (Amy and Martha) played minor roles in Doctor Who before they were actually companions.. so it isn't unlikely Jenna Louise Coleman is doing the same thing.
However, if she will be portraying Oswin again, it'll be interesting to see how they write her in to the Christmas special.
I just imagine it will involve meeting her at an earlier stage, with the Doctor knowing her ultimate fate, without her knowing it.
We know Moffat loves this stuff due to River Song.

Still doesn't quite work since she didn't know who the doctor was...
Really curious myself as to how they'll end up resolving this,,,
She didn't know who the Doctor was, but didn't they also mention in the episode that
I dunnow. Disregard.
I kinda figured that her memories were erased due to reasons mentioned above.
I watched the episode a bit late, but it was an ok start to the series! Looking forward to tomorrow's ep.
As for companion, are we sure it's the same character? Same actor doesn't necessarily imply same character, they could be related distantly or something.
Not that I'd complain at all if I was her, I thought she was bloody brilliant.
Won't be much of a spoiler to say I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with the prehistoric creatures tonight.
I loved the guest stars they had in this week's episode. Especially the voices of a certain comedy duo!
Well I'm very upset. That was very distressing.
Scarier than the last angels episode too, but mostly just very distressing.
I enjoyed the episode. Abrupt ending.
For the sake of continuation though, they really can't stick to their own plots/timelines.

Tbh I hope the head writer changes again soon, Moffat writes good individual stories but I don't think he can write over-arcing plots that make..... sense.
