Ridge Racer 3D

I wonder about the soundtrack. What episode does it sound the most like ? I just hope it doesn't sound as awful as RR5 on PS2. Might end up being my first 3DS game after all.

I didn't like what I played of it. It's the same old game again and again with little new.

The last PSP game has better graphics. I don't think Ridge Racer is a type of racer that could be improved with online MP, I think WiFi 2 player is fine for this type of arcade racer.

I'm a little excited about it, because it's got lots of lassic tracks from all of the games. Those graphic look unfinished though. Lacking detail and any graphical flurishes.

This is honestly my favourite 3D experience on 3DS so far. Wait until you've played it more and you'll barely notice the dip in graphical quality. Everything flows so quickly and the sense of depth is amazing!

I wish there were more tracks for RR Type 4 :/. This one had the best soundtrack EVER in a Ridge Racer (Burnin' Rubber and Naked Glow are my favourite tracks =) ). RR64 also had a quite good soundtrack but it was composed by the guys at NSTC so I guess Namco didn't have the rights to include it or didn't bother to negotiate to be allowed to.

I think this is one of the games I would get for the 3DS if I could afford it at launch, glad to know it's good, even though the PSP version in some ways looks better.

Sigh... I can't wait to get a 3DS.

I love how there's an AV Player included. This afternoon whilst writing up Mii Plaza: Puzzle Swap and Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D, I had the whole soundtrack just playing away in the background.
