Like: Much better experience than at home on your TV.
Dislike: Getting there and you can only watch it once for the money you pay.

Like: Can watch a movie anytime and as often as I want to.
Dislike: Need proper equipment to have a good movie experience.

Watching at home for privacy and no people being noisy or sitting in front of you. It's more convenient on a couch as well. I also don't mind waiting as there hasn't really been a movie that I couldn't wait for.

Home because I prefer to relax and enjoy it in my own room and can pause for breaks. Also can rewatch over without paying extra, unlike cinemas which need you to pay for tickets to watch again.

7) I enjoy the atmosphere, the trailers, and the opportunity to hang out with friends. I dislike QUITE much the fact that food is overpriced and that they don't allow outside food.

I enjoy the comfiness of home and the opportunity to hang out with the family. I enjoy that most of the time, pausing and rewinding is an option. I enjoy that I can eat any food I want. I dislike the lack of atmosphere.

I don't have a specific preference, generally. It all depends on the occasion. I do find watching at the cinemas more fun, however.

Large Screens, Food, Comfy chairs, unparalleled sound.

Noise of others (unless comedy), overly expesive food, Expesive tickets, especially for 3D, there is no need!

Cinema, much more immersive, and gives you a chance to make a 'thing' out of it with friends. Bigger Screen,

As of now, I prefer watching movies at home, mostly do to my lack of funds to head to the theater. But, if I were to stumble across some extra cash, I would definitely choose the theater. It has an immersive quality to it that is hard to replicate at home. That, and it's great to take the lady friends.

I don't like the crowds, noise, heads getting in the way and children.

I like having the option to pause whenever I want, the quietness and no crowds. It's just me and the film.

The atmosphere is usually better. (depends on the crowd I guess)

Being able to do other things while having the film on in the background.
Dislike:
Small screen. I only have my laptop here. It has a 13inch screen....
My laptop speakers suck so the sound quality is atrocious unless I plug headphones in. Which ties me to my desk. D:

I prefer watching films at home because then I can watch the slow parts of the film at 2x speed, and I can browse the web/do a spot of programming/ play guitar while watching the film.
I'd feel like I'm wasting time if I only did 1 of these tasks at a time.
Why not merge them?
