Amazing trailer I forgot to post yesterday.

I am very excited for this to be coming out, I've been following its development as close as someone on the outside can. I can't wait for it to come out next month along with Deus Ex and the 3DS.

Shame that I have to get the worst version (Xbox) as the PS3 version is superior, and if you have a behemoth of a computer, the PC version is insanely sweet.

Played the multiplayer beta. Really wasn't impressed. Just felt so poorly designed.

I loved the first one and I know Crytek will pull through, its already receiving high praise from the leak that has been spreading around (which is really unfortunate). Its always been more of a Single player game than multiplayer anyway.

I just don't understand the decision to beta the game at all though. I mean, it was really that bad. The game was just not ready for players at all.

I would have think they'd have used a decent multiplayer level too. But the level they chose was just horribly designed.

I dunno. I went from being excited about the game to wondering what the heck happened.

Fuck the multiplayer. It's all about the single player. I literally couldn't give a shit about the multi. I played 1 round on the demo and turned it off.

Yeah I downloaded that multiplayer demo and was pretty unimpressed as well, graphics weren't that AMAZINGLY amazing as they want us to believe but then this was on a console after all.
Just felt like CoD (which I don't really like) with some powers.

I will remain open minded about trying the single player though.

Crytek UK made the MP game. Crytek UK, formerly Free Radical, made great Time Splitters MP games, so they have good experience to draw upon. I wouldn't be too critical of the MP game, you may well be pleasantly surprised by the finished product.

Sometimes a closed fist is best. In other words, if you don't tend to like modern shooters, don't get Crysis 2. I also think it looks kind of shabby. The graphics look slick (apparently better on PS3 for once?), but from what gameplay I've seen it just looks too crazy for my liking.

Mind you, I prefer COD4 and WaW to MW2 and Blops. The reason for this is that I feel the former two had just the right amount of gameplay features. MW2 blew that all to hell with a shit-load of different killstreak rewards, many of which are just too strong. Blops followed suit.

COD4 and WaW had pretty nice balanced gameplay for the most part, and you didn't feel like there were millions of killstreaks constantly going off. Crysis 2 just seems a bit much to me. Looks epic, but I'm an old man now and can't be arsed.
