Packing in Wii Sports Resort would have made it much more attractive.

They should have bundled Resort, it should come as standard now.

Does seem odd that resort isn't there and there giving you a motion plus as well.

Suppose it provides some incentive to get people out and get the game.

Resort hasn't sold as many as Nintendo hoped it would. I think they're hoping to gain more sales for it this Christmas, so they're opting not to include it now.

It will probably retail for the same prices as all the other current Wii configurations. Now people can choose between Wii Sports Resort, New Super Mario Bros Wii or Mario Kart Wii as the extra free game.

It's respectable but not great when you consider it's potential after the first games monumental success. I think it could have reached 20m+ sales by now, if Nintendo promoted both the game and the device in better fashion.

Ok Mario Kart has sold over 22 million already, that's crazy. I expect this bundle to sell incredibly well.

If people already don't have a Wii, this'll probably be the breaking point on not getting one. I mean, if I didn't already have one, I would totally get this. Smilie

Wii Sports Resort will sell on its own, especially if this bundle boosts Wii sales. Nintendo may have found Mario Kart sales petering out (since every Wii owner has it...) so they chose to bundle it with a Wii.
