Wow. Thats all i can say. MLSS was frickin awesome as suspected. I feel bad for everyone in Britain that didn't get a chance with Paper Mario or Mario RPG, but now you get Superstar Saga. It got a 9.5 in Game Informer magazine and is the game of the month! Can you beat that? No, no you cant

This game is seriously wonderful. I'm on my 14th hour and still going strong. Smilie

Yeah it is really good, too bad the UK people couldn't get Paper Mario...if I had a lot of money i'd go buy Paper Mario for everyone on C3 that doesn't have it

Smilie

I never thought it was an RPG and i was pleasently suprised that it was. However, in my opinion, i would have prefered a Super Mario RPG similar to the original.

I'm loving it one of the nicest surprises all year though Nintendo should really spread the word about it a bit more, a good game like this deserves to be noticed. Smilie

Smilie Cant wait to play it now. Whats it like on the Gameboy player

I have had my eye on this since it was first announced, I have been following everything about it for ages. Then when it was finaly released it got nothing but AMAZING reviews. So I want this more than any other game at the moment, and although i'm finaly getting my SP at christmas, making it a seemingly perfect time to pick up the game, i'm also getting nine other, admitedly older GBA games as well. So it would be a bit greedy to get this as well, seeing as how epic it's supposed to be.

Anywho glad too see it's still living up to expectations, you can all here my one and only verdict when I pick it up probably in a month or two. Smilie

Nintendo and Alpha Dream tweaked the game to play perfectly on the big screen via the GBPlayer, so it's like playing a beautiful SNES game, but without the horrible black borders at the top and bottom! Also, there is a feature included so you can actually get force feedback from the rumble pak in the GC controller...

How great is that?

Anyway: A 9.7 score and C3 GBA Game of the Year for the game should be good enough to convince gamers to part with their money!

24 hours in, I'm on the game's final area (I think so anyway). This game is just the best - I've read many reviews and they all agree on this. I can't wait for the proposed release of Paper Mario on GC - I gather its more of the same. Smilie

I'm going to have to buy a GBA SP now...aswell as FF Tactics, Golden Sun 2 and Mario & Luigi...thank God for X-Mas money!

Got it and it is a brillant game and the force feed back from the GBP is a nice touch. I love the battle syste the way you can jump to avoid enemys attacks

GOD, now after hearing all these positive opinions, now I wanna get it. I have to choose between DBZ:taiketsu or Mario and LuigiSmilieuper Star SAGA. although If I got MLSS I can register at Nintendo of America and they will send me the Zelda Bonus disc.

OK It's settled! Mario & Luigi it is!

(I want the bonus disc especially because for some reason I have never played through Ocarina of Time, just played with friends. And I have never even played Majoras Mask, as well as the NES classics)

The only ones I have played were A Link to the Past, and Wind Waker, I know I know, I must of skipped a lot of action Smilie

Great decision - for all sorts of reasons!

Aaaaarrrrrgggghhhhh! 30 hours in and I just can't nail the final boss! Bastard!!! I know how to deal with all 8 different attacks but I keep getting swamped near the end of the battle and its driving me to distraction!!!

I feel better for that. Oh, and I will beat it - eventually.

It was so annoying...but the sense of satisfaction after finally beating it was amazing!

I apologise to everyone for this rather anal post but I have a question for Raz. How many HP did you have on the brothers before the final boss(es)? I have 108 for Mario and 106 for Luigi. When I levelled up, I added bonus stats to all the different areas of the brothers but I am beginning to think that I should have concentrated on HP and BP only! I just keep running out of HP before the end and I don't think that I'm going to be able to finish it. I'm not the greatest gamer but I should be able to do this. Your thoughts?

Iv ranked up 13 hours in this game and i at thhat bit were luigi has to help sick mario. Love the old remixed tunes especially playing the arcade and hearinh the yoshies island mini game theme and the cave levels with that classic cave music. Didnt think that it would be so funny aswell making mario small then do a high jump and while lugi is in the air make tiny mario jump and hit him in the nuts lol.

I especially love the few 2D Mario sections that are hidden away in the game - Alpha Dream manages to recreate the intense action of Super Mario Bros perfectly!

Anyway, for Anordara:

Mario - Level 40
HP 126
BP 52
Pow 169
Def 186
Speed 106
Stache 94

Casual Slacks
General Badge
Great Force

Most used Bros Attack: Chopper Bros

Luigi - Level 40
HP 126
BP 37
Pow 172
Def 184
Speed 106
Stache 88

Casual Slacks
Spiny Badge AA
Excite Spring

Most used Bros Attack: Cyclone Bros

Damn you amazon! Damn you to hell!

I ordered it but it never came, they even took the money for it. So we got it back and I wasted it on January Sales stuff.

Then I orderd GTA Double Pack, but that's not the point. Smilie

I wants the game! Smilie Smilie
