Super Smash Bros Melee is not good!

This is such a bad game, if you want a good 2d fighter get Capcom Vs SNK 2:EO

sorry but SSBM just edge's the SNK effort. much more fun on 4 player

I like it in 2 player but single player (shudder). It is VERY overaterd, I much prefer something like DOA3 on XBOX, now thats one good fighting game. SSBM is too shallow and tedious

No way is it over rated!
Its just brilliant fun.
You see you have to look at it from a bigger scale.. so many possibilites, so frantic, fast, fun. So many charectors, players (64!) and levels, so many items and so many everything!
Now I used to hate this game too, I really did.. But I stuck at it for a bit and then got good at it. So good that i started to Love it and explore everything it has to offer. I suggest you all do the same. Play it for a while, with mates that are good, and find you charector. Then use him/her and get good! I really recon you may enjoy it more if you got more into it.
I reall hate all other beat em ups.. *Bang, smash wallop* KO! Bit dull...

Hell, I'm the master at the god damn game, but after 2 months playing the thing, it made my blood boil. My mates all got bored, I compleated the entire thing, and whats left is so bland and un-creative

Is Capcom vs SNK 2 EO any good? It has received mixed reviwes...

Anyway, SSBM. It kicks ass. Really, it does. It is WAY better than DOA3, as that is merely a game for perverts. I have played both extensively, and nothing can come close to the fast paced fun that is SSBM.

anyway it is really good and as it is easy to pick up anyone can give a really good player a run for their money!

As I said, it was a good game, for 2 months. DOA3 is not as good, it just lasts longer (ignore Beach Vollyball, thats just disturbed).

SNK is very good, i can understand why it get's mixed reviews as it's old skool 2d beat em up mayhem.

Since I love Street Fighter so much, I think I'll pick up Capcom vs SNK 2 EO. Any comments on the control pad layout for the game etc?

personaly i love ssbm, you can't compared it to a 2d fighter or tekken or something plainly because it's totaly different, if you used the side stepping and dodging and blocking and all your moves on ssbm then it can be a very diverse game.

the event match's are pure class and the other modes are extremely fun if you do them on more than 'very easy' setting, but completing them with every character is extremely tedious.

the ammount to do in ssbm just dosn't compare to other fighters, great single player once you'v completed it and the multiplayer is, well, FANTASTIC

i completed doa3 within days, very boring imo

SSB is gr8 fun. There are many frantic battles and the multiplayer rules. I never get tired of it, unless I don't switch characters.

There are different genres of fighting games. SNK: E0 comesunder a different catergory to SSBM in the same way that SSBM comes under a different catergory from MKDA.

NB: SSBM is a 3d fighter with 2d movement and comes under a unique genre. It is also less serious than other fighters which would also put it under a different catergory. Me, I like SSBM
