E310 Media | Capcom Brings Resident Evil to 3DS

A good plot would be nice. RE5 would've been awesome had the story not been retarded.

I love Resident Evil and can't wait for this. I hope it's better than Resident Evil 5 was though. I was so disappointed with Resi5 even though it was still a good game.

OMFG, is that Hunk in one of the pictures. If it is then I hope he's playable. Would be cool to see if they have a mercearies section in this one. Not sure what it would be like if they added it in, but I think it will mke the game more fun and time spanning. Good job Capcom

When I saw the screenshot of Chris I immediately thought this was going to be yet another remake of Resident Evil 1 on a new platform. Thank god its not. I look forward to this!

I hope the game uses the over the shoulder view of RE4 and RE5. If so, this is a definite buy for me.

Wait! I had a horrible thought. What if this is (im being serious) on rails. Onrails would compliment the 3D effect with controllable scenarios. That would be horrible.

I really hope onrails has been put to rest.

That interview told me a few things. Firstly the attitude of some of the creators and their obsession with graphics. secondly that this game isnt a port and is like RE5 (which I havent played but looked excellent to me)

So im guessing no on rails. Plus the line 'we have made RE before but this is a brand new game like RE5' seems like a way of saying this game gets our full efforts because this DS has pretty graphics and is worth our attention.

I have officially shelved a sucessor to RE4 with those amazing IR controls and motion plus melee attack for the next generation.
